great value for money, everthing i need - Review by Adam
Just received my knife, very fast delivery, satisfied with the build quality, has that nice locking ‘click’ when you flip out each tool and very sturdy looking design. This one had the most features that I actually needed, the other option was the Swiss Champ, but I didn’t need a lot of the tools that one had extra to this one. The only extra I would have liked would be a corkscrew so I could fit one of those nifty mini-screwdrivers they sell (or have it included with the corkscrew), but that isn’t really that critical. In general the utility model is a great value collection of tools for a good price. (Posted on 22/12/10)
Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
My Swiss Army Knife Which is 16 years old and given good service has Scisors that have broken (Screw in middle stripped) and broken spring on plyers and scisors) . Could you please tell me if this is part of waranty, and if so where do I send it. I live in Geelong Victoria.
A:
You can actually buy those as spare parts for your knife (http://www.myswissarmyknife.com.au/victorinox-swiss-army-knife-spare-parts.html) as they can be replaced on your own. That would be for the broken springs on the plyers and scissors... as for the scissors where the screw in the middle is stripped, I'm not sure if we have the spare screw to fix it, or if that is fixable with a spare part. You might have to contact the Victorinox dealers to see what can be done, and possibly send it back to them for repairs. They're based in Sydney and they're called Sheldon & Hammond. You can call their general line 02 9482 6600 and speak to someone about Victorinox swiss army knife spare parts.
